What you'll be doing

Ensures a consistent and timely completion of launch readiness activities. Provides guidance and develops launch expertise among functions to ensure launch excellence. Works with functions to develop and track pre-launch and launch performance measurements. Tracks deliverables using appropriate tools. Consistently monitors and reports on status of the launch to stakeholders and senior leadership by communicating progress, problems and solutions. Owns the development, maintenance and revision of the compass launch processes, templates and handbooks. Ensures timing is aligned with launch roadmap best practices activities or deliverables. Drives for alignment between global and regional strategies and tactical plans. Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Identifies bottlenecks, dependencies and key decisions points in the launch process. Proposes risk mitigation plans. Leads the continuous improvement of project management tools and process with an eye to best practices both inside and outside the pharma industry. Anticipates evolving needs of the launch team. Ensures best practices are shared across team.

What your background should be

Minimum 5-10 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or other industry. Expertise in project or process management and controlling project planning tools, especially for marketing and commercial functions. Substantial attention to detail combined with ability to run multiple projects simultaneously, being proactive and recognizing interdependencies. Ability to organize and direct diverse activities, often under significant time pressure. Strong analytical skills and sound business acumen specific to operational activities, marketing and product launches. Strong and proven communication skills to ensure project plans are transparent and that risks, issues and results are clear to all key internal partners. Solid understanding of marketing, product management, launch process and best practices. Ability to align with senior stakeholders within global brand teams and support functions. Ability to influence and manage a complex set of internal and external stakeholders.

Required Schooling / Training

BA or BSc; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
