What you'll be doing

Develop and maintain an effective sales team through interviewing, selecting, orienting, coaching and developing sales representative. Mentor and train to attain excellence. Develop and maintain weekly sales training or role-play or practice sessions to engage and drive performance of sales team. Understand and craft approaches to excel within market segments, understand the customer and train representative to successfully sell to base. Motivate team to achieve beyond expectations. Provide strong leadership to drive and overachieve on key expectations. Implement marketing promotional programs to achieve revenue and profit targets. Commit to continuous improvement and development of sales leadership excellence through contact with educational institutions, professional organizations, trade organizations, etc. Considerable travel required to ensure and monitor quality sales demonstrations throughout the US.

What your background should be

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of management experience leading sales representative, setting and achieving retail sales goals and ensuring teams are prepared, performing and budget and profit targets are achieved. Candidate need experience managing a multi-unit road show retail program, including how to remotely recruit a sales staff for multiple locations across the country. Verifiable track record of successfully managing sales representative while achieving performance goals. Excellent people management skills including conflict resolution, coaching, developing representative, promoting teamwork and metrics driven performance management.
