What you'll be doing
- Maintain all donor records and data processing of all donor gifts at the association level, including gift and pledge processing; donor invoicing; donor receipts and acknowledgments; matching gifts; and production of various reports. Manage all association on-line gifts in areas of annual, capital, endowment, etc. Manage and implement stewardship calendar, including but not limited to thank you letters; donor recognition; special invitations; newsletter communication; and personal recognition and acknowledgements. Coordinate all financial development related direct mail pieces. Serve as an expert and contact person for all branch and association staff. Provide ongoing systems and stewardship training/facilitation for all branch and association staff with responsibilities related to fundraising and financial development. Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of special events. Maintain memberships with professional organizations as directed by chief development officer.
What your background should be
- Minimum four (4) years of progressive experience in an administrative environment. Prior experience in creating and maintaining database systems, with expertise in Oracle systems preferred. Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience working in a development office and donor management preferred. Proven writing skills and ability to confidently interact with highly successful professionals.
