What you'll be doing
- As a restaurant general manager, the candidate will be able to execute restaurant administrative duties. Provide the leadership necessary to ensure the restaurant can sustain an acceptable level of day to day operations. Create value for the shareholders through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management. Manage a corporate owned restaurant within the policies and guidelines of the company, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Control day to day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team. Ensure osha, local health and safety codes; company safety and security policy are met. Control profit and loss, by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions. Recruit, interview and hire team members, conduct performance appraisals, take disciplinary action, motivate and train. Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program. Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Two to four years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including profit & loss responsibility required. Basic personal computer literacy preferred. Basic business math and accounting skills; strong analytical and decision making skills are preferred. Good communication skills; and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree or associate degree preferred.
