What you'll be doing

Travel to and maintain presence at college partners on a regular basis to promote undergraduate programs. Serve as initial contact for prospective students and ensure consistency of the university relationship throughout the recruiting stages. Provide excellent customer service by being highly visible, responsive and attentive to prospective student and other external stakeholder needs and inquiries, reacting in a timely manner and aiding in issue resolution and escalation when needed. Track all interactions with prospective students in the constituent relationship management system. Build and maintain relationships with administrators and faculty at partner community colleges and other educational based community organizations. Facilitate appropriate university connections and ensure appropriate campus representation and engagement with the partner. Connect companies staff with appropriate counterparts at these organizations to promote and grow collaborative opportunities. Present to CC partner department chairs, faculty and staff. Use data to assist in recruitment and engagement planning. Identify trends and issues affecting community partner relationships. Secure new requests for program offerings provided by administrators, faculty and students at community college partners. Share analytic information with community partners as appropriate. Recommend companies course offerings needed by each of the partners to assure all student needs are met for bachelor completion. Plan and execute joint events between community partners and company as necessary for optimal relationship management. Participate in recruitment activities including open houses, transfer fairs, welcome-back activities, classroom presentations and faculty or advisor meetings.

What your background should be

Minimum of 3 years of work-related experience. Knowledge of the statements and principles of good practice of the national association for college admission counseling. Understanding of state of Ohio transferability guidelines, recruitment and admissions standards, articulation and transfer clearing-house policies. Ability to articulate university mission and message to each constituent group in unique fashion. Ability to analyze trends and disseminate information from community college partners across campus community. Must hold valid driving license and have the ability to travel independently overnight. Successful candidate must pass a comprehensive background check (including criminal), university judiciary review and driving record audit.
