What you'll be doing
- The organization is currently looking for a design technician. Provides quick estimates and detailed quotes. Designs company plumbing, heating and/or fire sprinkler systems. Provides calculation, design and material lists, and CAD drawings to customers. Uses various software and company manuals and guides to develop designs. Answers incoming technical calls from Reps, distributors, and contractors. Trains drafters. Performs other duties. Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.
What your background should be
- A minimum 2-5 years of related experience. Must have AutoCAD/computer skills. Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, company parts and materials is required. Must have good communication skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- AA degree.
