What you'll be doing

Plunging, auguring, snaking and clearing drain lines. Run new PVC, copper and galvanized drain lines. Water heater repair and installation. Basic underground plumbing work. Basic maintenance to include; door and cabinetry repair, drywall repair, painting and basic flooring. Concrete and ground restoration. Repair and replace lights and ballast. Make connections to water heaters. Trouble shoot and repair switches and receptacle. Source and order parts. Complete work orders, invoice sheets and quote sheets (when applicable) for every job. Call dispatcher for assignment on all regular or scheduled working days. Invoke five minute rule stated above if dispatcher is not available. Report all abnormal situations to dispatcher immediately.

What your background should be

3-5 years of related experience. Valid driving license with clean driving record. Clean criminal history. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Basic understanding of local plumbing codes. Have (or obtain) all necessary tools to perform assignments on a daily basis. Be available to work a flexible schedule with varying start & stop times. Ability to fax or e-mail paperwork from home. Able to communicate clearly both written and verbally. Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds repetitively. Must be able to climb a ladder. Must be comfortable working at all heights. Able to work on feet for 10-12 consecutive hours.
