What you'll be doing
- Works directly with the lead maintenance technician and supervisor to assist in maintaining facilities. Responds to customer concerns. Responsible for meeting productivity objectives and managing time effectively. Follows safe work practices. Performs construction, maintenance and repair work on facilities including painting, plumbing, electrical, automatic entry systems, refrigeration equipment, and HVAC systems. Inspects buildings, grounds, equipment and fixtures to determine need for maintenance or repair. Repairs or alters buildings, facilities, and other structures from plans, sketches, written or oral instructions. Operates construction tools, equipment and power tools.
What your background should be
- 3 years experience in related field. Building construction and carpentry (flooring repair and installation, concrete repair, drywall repair, painting, hanging doors, and framing, etc). Building codes, rules and safety regulations. Painting and wall preparation. Knowledge and experience with electrical, plumbing, welding, operating mechanical tools, HVAC, and automatic entry systems. Maintains effective working relationships with customers and co-workers and a strong desire to surpass expectations. Is organized and meets deadlines.
