What you'll be doing
- The PSS is primarily responsible for managing the execution of all product service and project activity and ensuring consistency in execution and delivery of customer experiences in their assigned stores. This includes supervising the work of and assigning product service team members to projects and project teams, monitoring resources, and reallocating work when needed. The PSS is also responsible for assessing performance of store product service, resets and customer experience projects. The product service supervisor will also be responsible for understanding the individual service needs for the stores in their assigned area and ensuring the execution of those identified needs, including deciding when to make exceptions to a project plan, based on individual store needs and layout. The PSS is also responsible for overseeing the performance of product service team members, including the ongoing development of their career path with company. This includes hiring and training new team members, monitoring individual and team performance, analyzing performance metrics, and providing corrective action and developmental feedback and opportunities. This position will be assigned to a home store and will travel daily between stores throughout their assigned market to oversee execution of product service projects, resets and service. The PSS will assist in maintaining merchandising standards and executing product service projects and service tasks.
What your background should be
- 2 years customer service or retail experience in a fast-paced retail environment or 1 year company store experience. 1 year of supervisory experience including coaching/training peers or team. Ability to read, writes, and performs basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction). Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation and ability to pass MVR screen. Ability to travel between stores within market and work overnight and weekends as required. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
