Technical Representative

What you'll be doing: Perform project take off from architect or construction specification drawing. Prepare project submittal for specified contract project. Travel to customer location and inspect roof. Communicate with customer and check roof for problem area. Measure roof and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed to re roof. Work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposal for customer. Inspect roof for the service department and assist the operation department in quoting small repair job. Perform all other duties as assigned.

What your background should be: 1 year general construction, roofing or sales experience. Organizational, analytical, problem solving and people skills. Understanding of new construction and specification driven bidding processes. Ability to read or interpret architectural drawings and perform project take off. Ability to compile and prepare project submittal. Ability to track project change orders. Able to complete project closeout documentation as required. Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and bid estimating software). A valid driving license in good standing. Able to climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet.
