What you'll be doing

This position is responsible for the processing and management of the vendor allowance tracking system including interfacing with IS/System support, optimum functionality for the contract accounting team, and availability of detail data including version control and analysis. Produce report in compliance with audit requirements as well as operational needs. Program budgeting and forecasting of +$1.5 billion in income across US business units, from the +400 vendors with rebate programs. Provide critical input to the forecast process and track future opportunities and risks. Define new reporting functionality and analytic requirements/opportunities within the vendor rebate and accounts receivable area. Manage the upload process of actual & forecast purchase volumes. Maintain the associated reconciliations for purchase loads. Oversee entry of shrink purchases, special order, & CFS purchases. Perform the calc rebates function, oversee the versioning, and rebate analysis. Manage the global gates purchase process. Ad hoc, request/analyze as necessary to support merchandising. Support system and process integration and upgrades to the income tracking system.

What your background should be

4 to 6 years of experience in analytic approaches and methods (reporting; modeling; optimization), accounting (accounts payable & accounts receivables) and 2 to 3 years of advanced experience in MS Excel and MS Access. Strong analytical skills; detail oriented; flexible; ability to adapt to change. Superior customer service skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
