What you'll be doing
- Help design a software assurance (SwA) strategy to be used within the HPCMP. Research a strategy to get approval for clients developed within the HPCMP to be used across the services (army, navy, air force). Work with the HPCMP development teams to ensure security is integrated into the projects. Work with developers to ensure they understand secure coding. Scan source code as necessary using static code analyzers (i.e., fortify, code sonar). Perform a security scan on the project to ensure there are no vulnerabilities (i.e., Nessus, retina). Work with local security to implement new development projects securely into the existing infrastructure.
What your background should be
- Experience with Microsoft secure development life cycle (SDL). Strong written and verbal technical communication skills. Ability to develop effective working relationships that improve the quality of work products. Well-organized, thorough, and able to handle competing priorities software engineering and development with emphasis on the delivery of secure, internet-exposed, multi-tier, web-based systems using Java/J2ee and/or C#/ASP/.Net. Experience with scripting: Perl/Bash/JavaScript/SQL/Python. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must possess an active secret with the eligibility for a top secret clearance. 4+ years of relevant experience.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in computer science, management information systems or other technical discipline required or equivalent.
