Senior User Experience Lead

What you'll be doing: As a senior user experience lead at the organization, the incumbent will be researching and designing software at a company that plays a foundational role in the global financial system. The incumbent will engage with product managers, project managers, business analysts, and developers, as well as his/her user experience team members specializing in user research, visual design and front-end development. The responsible person for this position will practice user-centered design, with specialization in one or more of: information architecture, user interface design, interaction design and potentially graphic design, front-end development or big data design. Create UX design deliverables site maps, process flows, sketches, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity prototypes. Oversee and execute user experience projects from inception to implementation, coordinating the teams work with business units and development teams. Plan and conduct user research and create user personas to support the user-centered design process. The responsible person will monitor the transformation of his/her UI specs into working code; continue to advocate for the user during the UAT process.

What your background should be: Minimum 6-8 years experience required. Job holder must have extensive experience with designing, developing, implementing and supporting multi-platform Internet and Intranet applications and mechanisms that monitor use, performance and growth. S/he must have in-depth knowledge of the total computing environment of the company, including interdependencies and organizational responsibilities. S/he must also be knowledgeable in all phases of a consulting relationship and have prior experience with remote and mobile access applications. Job holder must understand web-based development, industry trends and operational considerations for maintaining web applications.
