Account Service Representative

What you'll be doing: This position is responsible for providing accurate resolution to policy and account level customer inquiries received through the national telephone team phone lines and some limited functions for designated mailboxes from multiple customer audiences, plan administrators, producers, sales managers and brokers. These service inquiries would include instantaneous requests as well as those requiring additional research or processing. The successful person will provide timely and accurate customer service to multiple customer groups from multiple access points (phone, fax, and email) utilizing current processes, procedures and systems. Pro-actively identify opportunities to provide education on e-services and market services to customers based on their needs and capabilities. Pro-actively identify trends and opportunities to enhance the level of service provided by account services. Complete/process miscellaneous service requests in support of other functional/customer needs as available. The responsible person for this position may perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be: The ideal candidate requires having strong problem solving and negotiation skills. The candidate will have to project a positive and professional image when interacting with customers in all levels of services. The applicant is expected to be self motivated and a solid team player who will demonstrate clear understanding of all processes, procedures and systems applicable to account services. The candidate requires having the ability to multi task with demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced structured environment handling large call volumes. The applicant is also needed to be adaptive/flexible and be able to handle multiple and changing needs.
