Production/Bindery Assistant

What you'll be doing: Operate plotter or cutter to produce vinyl for signage and display graphics. Operate digital production equipment such as wide format and flat bed printers. Cut, weed and mount of cut vinyl on substrates. Operate production equipment in a safe, efficient and appropriate manner. Installation of completed jobs at customer location as needed. Regularly review work to ensure quality standards are met. Coordinate with center manager or production manager for daily jobs. Review customers orders and due dates, read and follow job ticket instructions and requirements. Maintain an inventory of supplies. Inform production manager when supplies are needed. Prepare completed jobs for shipment, including entering shipping information on ups.com. Keep area around machines clean and organized. Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed. May assist with print production, bindery and finishing. Operation of print finishing equipment such as envelope printing, cutting, creasing, folding, UV coating, coil binding. Some hand work may be involved.
