District Manager

What you'll be doing: Being a District Manager at our company means dealing with the following duties: - Take responsibility for all basic aspects of inventory shrinkage over the district. - Analyze the trends and results of the district sales in order to achieve sales increases as well as maximize sales. - Recruit, coach and build associates. - Keep a good inventory mix and merchandise presentation in order to maximize the results of the sales in every store. - Keep under control the cash, payroll hours, perform store audits as well as monitor inventory shrinkage. - Render the highest levels of customer service within the assigned territory through personal communication with the company customers and interactions with associates. - Train and develop management and hourly associates within the district.

What your background should be: What is the District Manager required of? - Exceptional leadership skills. - Prior experience in multi-unit Retail Management, preferably working with hardlines / variety. - Solid recruiting and merchandising abilities. - Previous supervisory experience. - Brilliant communication skills.
