What you'll be doing

The process engineer is responsible for development of new or modified process formulations, definition of processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, review of processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of semiconductors. Review product requirements with design staff to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Recommend and prepare changes, additions and modifications which will facilitate manufacturing. Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. May conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes in photo masking, diffusion, deposition, wafer fabrication and device physics. Follow standard practices in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

BS engineering (ece, ee, me, chem. eng., met. eng., material sci. eng. or equivalent) with good scholastic records.
