What you'll be doing

The registered nurse, as a professional practitioner employed by the company, assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. Performs focused interview to identify specific patients needs. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient condition. Collects, analyzes and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses. Identifies and prioritizes actions based upon patient care requirements. Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard. Monitors consistency between patient plan of care and actions of medical staff. Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment.

What your background should be

Current registered nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices. The candidate required to have full command, verbal and written, of the english language. The candidate is needed to have a current health certificate (per facility contract or state regulation) and a current ppd or chest x-ray and a current bls card. One year prior professional nursing experience preferred. The successful candidate might be asked to work at off-site facility/client site. The client might even be exposed to blood-borne pathogens, chemotherapeutic and toxic chemicals.
