What you'll be doing
- Currently the client is looking for a registered nurse-RN whose compassion,clinical expertise and excellence are top priority. As an RN you will conduct patient assessments and develop and implement nursing care plans to foster quality outcomes. You will have the opportunity to apply sound judgment, clinical expertise and execute critical nursing interventions to all patient populations within the patient care setting. Asses patients status, analyze and interpret information for intervention. Work with physicians to facilitate quality patient care. Confer with nursing supervisors/director as it relates to patient care outcomes. Interact on a continuous basis with other departments by directing activities towards positive outcomes. Establish delivery system and utilize nursing process. Follow policies, procedures, standards for hospital. Monitor neurological, cardiac and medical patient status and implements and carries out treatment plans. Manages long term traced mechanically ventilated patients and is proficient in airway management for the step-down patient.
What your background should be
- Must be have the proficient in management of neurologically impaired/compromised patients. Knowledgeable and proficient in caring for Epilepsy monitoring unit patients. Ability to monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately.
