What you'll be doing

The primary purpose of the quality engineer position is to monitors new processes, including new equipment and tools, to ensure performance to specifications is met before releasing new processes to production. Directs implementation of process changes, and installation of any new equipment. Corroborates with plant quality control and manufacturing personnel to ensure that processes and equipment produce a product that meets quality control and engineering standards. Reviews new and modified specifications for proper content, and controls timely introduction of same into the manufacturing system. Audits compliance to new specifications. Checks all new or old equipment, tools and the plant building to ensure that compliance with OSHA and EPA standards are met. Provides engineering counsel and assistance for correcting OSHA, EPA and waste disposal related problems. Performs special studies and analyses at request of plant or division management. Overtime is required to meet internal and external customer requirements. Performs any other duties as assigned. What your background should be

Minimum two years experience in manufacturing environment. Knowledge and experience in equipment automation. Proficient in computer software, including MicroSoft Word, Exel, and Power Point.

Required Schooling / Training

BSME or BSEE
