What you'll be doing
- Responsible for all aspects of contractor-provided support to the national security space institute (NSSI). Interface directly with the NSSI commandant, vice commandant, associate dean of education, course directors, program manager/contracting officer representative (COR), and GSA contracting officer (CO) on contract related issues. Directly responsible for completion of all work detailed in the SOW. Directly responsible for all program aspects as the single point-of-contact for all contractual matters and serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for the NSSI program manager and GSA project manager. Provide administrative, clerical, scheduling, and resource allocation for all aspects of the requirements called out in the SOW. Assess and resolve issues and provide recommendations as appropriate in support of NSSI operations. Ensure all staff complies with all required training imposed by the NSSI and higher guidance. Ensure compliance with international trafficking-in-arms regulations (ITAR) regulations and protocol for teaching foreign national students. Ensure the deliverables are provided on a schedule agreed upon by the NSSI program manager and the contractor program manager. Responsible to provide resources, financial management, administering contract actions, monitoring performance, making recommendations for improvement, supporting meetings, and preparing deliverables. Manage hiring and retaining highly qualified personnel. Provide overall program direction, financial management, and control. Additional duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Eight (8) years of project management experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Must have good communication skills. Ability in multitasking.
Required Schooling / Training
- Master's degree.
