Billing Specialist (Gastroenterology)

What you'll be doing: We are in need of an experienced Billing Specialist, who will have to deal with the following duties and responsibilities: - Interpret the medical charts of the patients. - Provide assistance in the process of appropriate procedural and diagnostic codes in order to make sure all they payment are accurate and prompt.

What your background should be: The Billing Specialist must possess the following Licenses / Qualifications / Skills / Certificates: - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) highly desired. - Associates education is a great plus. - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required within twelve months of employment. - From two to four years of equivalent work experience required. - Ability to handle multiple tasks within the set deadlines. - Excellent critical thinking skills. - Comfortable with communication with the clients. - Ability to reason and thoroughly troubleshoot is highly required. - Overall knowledge of diagnosis, psychology, diseases and anatomy will help to deal with the medical jargon translation. - Certain physical requirements: ability to push, lift and pull from 10 to 21 lbs from time to time; frequent sitting with some squatting, walking, bending and standing.
