What you'll be doing

The ultrasound technologist is to provide extraordinary care to patients by performing ultrasound examinations under the direction of a physician for identification of abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis. The sonographer performs a variety of echo and vascular ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. S/he use proper imaging techniques to ensure timely, safe, and high quality diagnostic exams. The ultrasound technologist exhibits good safety practices and thoroughly and accurately completes all required documentation. Sonographer helps to ensure a positive patient experience and truly make a difference to those serve.

What your background should be

Successfully completed one additional registry beyond the requirement for ultrasound tech (for a total of 2+ registries). Must be registered in vascular technology (RVT) and adult echo cardiology (RDCS). This position requires verifiable current healthcare provider or professional rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn.
