What you'll be doing

Assume primary responsibility for kitchen food production according to recipe. Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Surprise and delight the customer with consistent, delicious food. Guide chef and cook in preparation of daily prep list and job assignment. Supervise and delegate task to prepared food kitchen team member. Communicate any departmental concern to the team leader and associate team leader. Maintain consistency in food quality standard. Provide or follow complete recipe for all product produced in the kitchen. Ensure the quality, palatability and presentation of all in house production. Perform team member duties as required to run the department. Be aware of new products and recipes that become available. Follow and comply with established procedure, including weight and measure, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practice.

Able to prioritize efficiently and delegate responsibilities. Understand and communicate quality goal and ingredient information to customer. Ability to visually examine product for quality and freshness. Effective time management skill. Strong work ethic and integrity. Proper handling of knives and other cutting equipment. Available for flexible scheduling to meet the need of the department.
