What you'll be doing
- The Case Manager position comprises the following responsibilities: - Connect the customers of the company to the mainstream benefits as well as supportive services for health care, housing, substance abuse, domestic violence, legal assistance, veterans assistance, education and employment as determined. - Accomplish customers assessments in order to determine eligibility for the shelter or / and housing services, etc. - Set and maintain contacts with all providers of supportive services both
What your background should be
- Each candidate for the Case Manager position must meet the following requirements: - From one to two years of previous professional experience working in the field of homelessness or the other related support services. - Bachelors Degree in social work of any related sector (or a combination of the related experience and education may be accepted). - Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strongly desired requirements for the Case Manager position: - Ability to fluently speak Spanish is a great plus. - From one to three years of previous experience working with the TAY population from 18 to 24 years old with little kids. - Valid California Drivers License strongly desired. - Prior experience in database strongly preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelors Degree in social work of any related sector

For young ladies that come out of the foster care system, the Womens Care Cottage represents the eighteen to twenty four month special program that gives an opportunity for the women of 18-21 years of age who have been on probation to give a chance to live an independent life with dignity and pride.
