What you'll be doing
- Manage (recruit, oversee and evaluate) the 10-15 member. Manage the budget centers associated with the corporate security team. Serve as a de-facto project manager for corporate security initiatives. Provide guidance and strategy for the information security program. Foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage key information security processes. Act as a key interface to auditors, regulators and clients for all aspects of security. Maintain corporate information security policies. Coordinate company-wide security awareness training.
What your background should be
- Education can be alternative with equivalent work experience in IT security or infrastructure support. Five or more years of experience supporting network security (firewalls, intrusion prevention systems), endpoint security (active directory, virus detection, internet filtering, patch management), application security (vulnerability scanning, access administration). Two or more years of management experience; budgeting, directing, supervising, and planning. Experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects and with best practices mandated by SOX and/or regulating authorities in the financial services industry. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills. Proven problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and organizational skills. Lean Six Sigma, COBIT or ITIL certification preferred. Relevant IT security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred. Experience leading executive-level committees preferred.
