What you'll be doing
- The Quality Assurance Specialist performs quality regulatory and assurance work. Besides, the most suitable candidate will be required to conduct validations, audits and process review for regulated departments within the company and generates related reports. The specialist also completes all documents that are required for regulatory submissions and compliance. The Quality Assurance Specialist takes part in various inspections and also give professional regulatory guidance to the personnel. Essential functions required by this position: - Provide assistance with the development and implementation of regulatory requirements and new procedures. - Work on the regulatory and quality assurance assignments according to the regulatory standards and organizational SOP. - Develop reviews and conduct audits of procedures and processes for compliance. - Prepare written reports on the basis of trends from audit / inspection findings and initiate the most suitable corrective actions. - Completes documents needed for compliance as well as regulatory submissions. - Take part in accrediting and regulatory inspections, prepare reports, organize pre-inspection documents and maintain records.

- If you believe that the Quality Assurance Specialist position is just what the doctor ordered, make sure to have the following qualifications / skills record: - Ability to cope with every essential responsibility and duty satisfactorily. - Associates Degree in biological science or any other related area. - Three or more years of previous professional experience in blood bank environment OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, training and / certification. - Previous experience with procedures and requirements of the system of blood bank highly desired. - Ability to properly organize work in order to meet the required deadlines. - Knowledge of as well as ability to comprehend and interpret, and successfully apply state, federal and accrediting agency regulations. - Ability to set and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with the ones contacted in the course of work. - Ability to initiate, formulate and professionally administer procedures and policies to keep the most effective fiscal control. - Ability to comprehend and work in accordance with the written and oral instructions. - Ability to travel and have personal transportation. - Office equipment operating experience. - Ability to excellently communicate both in writing and oral manner. - Ability to travel up to fifty per cent of time. - Ability to handle all job requirements with 0% of supervision. - Ability to handle carrying, lifting, pulling or / pushing of materials and objects of light weight (not more than twenty pounds). - The Quality Assurance Specialist position may include balancing, climbing, kneeling, stooping, crawling, crouching standing or walking.
