What you'll be doing
- We are providing an immediate contract opportunity for a Quality Control Specialist with a previous background within the cGMP lab environment. The other responsibilities of the Quality Control Specialist position may require collection and processing of the samples within the set deadline, perform microbiological routine testing of validation samples, raw materials and final products according to the CGMP and SOPs regulations. Besides, the Quality Control Specialist will have to review lab assay documentation for timeliness and accuracy, evaluate preliminary results. The other responsibilities of the Quality Control Specialist role may be the following: - Troubleshoot instrument and assay problems with the Lab Supervisor. - Steam, Water and Critical Utility collection and associated testing. - Biological Indicator Testing. - In-process, water and buffers bioburden testing. - Bradford Protein Assay. - Monitoring of the environment. - Provide assistance with the optimization and development of the testing methods. - Review and enter data in LIMS. - Endotoxin Testing (Kinetic Turbidimetric and LAL Gel-Clot). - Obtain manufacturing samples into the Quality Control lab. - Conduct operational and safety lab audit. - Lab equipment general maintenance. - Take part in writing and revising protocols, SOPs. - Autoclave Quality Control micro equipment. - Maintain log books relevant to the equipment and inventory.
What your background should be
- The Quality Control Specialist position requirements: - Previous experience within the Quality Control area. - Ability to perform scientific research. - Awareness of QC methods, equipment and process. - Bachelors Degree.
