What you'll be doing
- The basic purpose of the PICK UP & DELIVERY DRIVER position is to pick up as well as deliver freight in a productive and efficient manner. Besides, the candidate for the PICK UP & DELIVERY DRIVER role will also be required to handle freight without damage, monitor freight delivered / received against freight bill for accuracy. Among the other responsibilities one should mention maintaining excellent customer relations and soliciting new freight.
What your background should be
- As an applicant for the PICK UP & DELIVERY DRIVER position, you must possess the following skills and qualifications: - Class A CDL. - Willingness as well as ability to push, lift and pull heavy elements of freight as required during the pick-up and delivery of freight. - Willingness to provide the best quality customer care services and to work staggered start times on a regular basis. - Minimum of 12 months of previous experience in verifiable Class A CDL driving. - Solid desire to become an essential part of a professional team driven organization. - Ability to pass vehicle background check.
Required Schooling / Training
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
