What you'll be doing
- Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, this position is accountable for executing supportive clerical and technical responsibilities to support the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care. Accuracy, reliability and excellent customer service skills are the cornerstone of the pharmacy technician expectations. She/he will perform receiving and stores clerk functions. Pharmacy Technician will prepare IVs, PCAs, Epidural and labels all IV products, and prepare chemotherapeutic intravenous medications as requested. This individual will also check in the order, processes invoices, credits and backorders. She/he will restock medication on the shelves as needed and, if needed, purchase medication from suppliers.
What your background should be
- 1 year of pharmacy experience
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma
