What you'll be doing
- The successful candidate will support in reconsidering and examining monthly financial statements and commentaries; in preparing budget schedules; preparing general and administrative budgets, involving General Manager and Operations Managers as necessary. Accounting Manager will implement and comply with internal accounting controls in accordance with the Corporate Controller Policies and procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting the implementation of the rate order, which involves working with IT personnel to design, test and verify new structures in the system, and preparation of periodic reports to the City. She/he will also administer the month-end close process, including the preparation and re-examine of journal entries.
What your background should be
- 5 or more years of experience in publish or industry accounting
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
