What you'll be doing
- This position is expected for offering a positive shopping experience through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, appropriate signage and prompt, courteous guest service at all times. Sales Associate is responsible for merchandising a department, executing assorted merchandising functions involving truck unloading, markdowns, processing returns and damages, signage, merchandise counts and transfers. Additionally, the position will prepare merchandise by opening boxes in the stockroom, removing merchandise and un-wrapping, sorting, ticketing and folding or hanging merchandise as required. It is the chargeability of the Sales Associate to maintain awareness to detect common signs of ticket switching, miss-mated merchandise, shoplifting, theft and other security risks involving guests and associates.
What your background should be
- 2 years of retail experience
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma
