What you'll be doing

Under the direct supervision of the pharmacist(s) on duty executes technical and manipulative functions required to receive, prioritize, record, process, fill, deliver, and bill medication orders and stock requisitions, inclusive of those which require the preparation of IV admixtures or other sterile products. Pharmacy Technician helps in the procurement, receipt and proper storage of drugs and general supplies. This experienced candidate interacts frequently with patients, visitors, hospital staff, physicians and/or vendor representatives. It is the responsibility of the Pharmacy Technician to maintain appearance and integrity of work area.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma
