What you'll be doing
- The Assistant Banquet Manager will be responsible for administering banquet events at the hotel. This person will manage event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and banquet equipment. She/he will purchase inventory by researching emerging products; anticipating buyer interest; negotiating volume price breaks; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. The successful applicant will help customers by providing information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions; preparing merchandise for delivery. She/he will also maintain inventory by checking merchandise to determine inventory levels; anticipating customer demand.
What your background should be
- 2 years of management experience
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor's degree
