What you'll be doing

The purpose of this role is to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. This person will provide first response problem documentation, diagnosis, and resolution. It is the function of the IT Help Desk Specialist to conduct individual and group training in desktop software applications. The ideal candidate will be expected for answering to questions and requests over the telephone and in person on information technology matters. This individual will gather and input data to maintain an accurate log of problems and resolutions. The successful candidate will track and monitor problems and provide any follow-up necessary. Also will serve as a technical resource on desktop software applications such as but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.

What your background should be

2-3 years of computer help desk support experience

Required Schooling / Training

Associate's degree
