What you'll be doing
- Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, this role is accountable for executing supportive clerical and technical tasks to support the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care. Accuracy, reliability and excellent customer service skills are the cornerstone of the pharmacy technician expectations. The Pharmacy Technician will execute receiving and stores clerk functions. The Pharmacy Technician will be answerable for answering telephones when appropriate and with in legal guidelines and directing calls to appropriate personnel. Moreover, she/he will deliver controlled substances to patient care areas, takes controlled substance physical inventories and reconciles controlled substance inventory counts.
What your background should be
- 1 year of experience in related field
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma
