What you'll be doing
- In this position, the person will execute a variety of problem analysis and customer care tasks for the Information Technology Solutions Department Help Desk. It is the function of the Help Desk Technician to assess customer requests and assign to appropriate technical staff according to the criticality and impact. The incumbent will log, coordinate and track requests for assistance related to ITS-supported systems and services. Help Desk Technician will be liable for providing quality support to faculty, staff, and administration with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness. Also, she/he will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues. The Help Desk Technician will also provide first response problem documentation, diagnosis, and resolution.
