The chosen candidate for the Senior Accountant role will work with minimum permission as well as within the audit team performing analyses and audits that are related to Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage Organizations. The basic duties may be related to auditing compliance with Federal regulations, preparing reports that support audit results and performing data analyses. The most common functions: - Assign work to personnel and review it within the set deadlines. - Perform and lead field audits and desk reviews. - Demonstrate exceptional data gathering, reporting, communication, process improvement and analysis skills. - Do the research to determine the compliance with related Medicare or any other regulations of the government program. - Review applicable State and Federal regulations and policies that are associated with every specific audit type before conducting the audit. - Maintain systematic electronic documentation. - Perform all phases of the audit including risk assessment, research and planning, fieldwork as well as the other procedures as assigned. - Prepare all working papers in order to document findings of audit according to the Medicare and the other regulations of the government programs as well as AICPA standards. - Keep all health information 100% confidential and secure when analyzing the material. - Cope with all the additional duties as required.

What your background should be

In order to be hired for this position, the candidate must meet the following requirements: - CPA candidate highly preferred. - Bachelor
