What you'll be doing
- We are on the lookout for a competent Full Time Medical Biller to review all claims for accuracy of information; to call to identify billing address (when applicable) and to expedite billings to each of the third party payers as well as patients.
What your background should be
- Minimum education and experience requirements: - High School Diploma. - Ability to operate all software programs and equipment utilized within the department. - From three years of previous billing experience in a hospital environment. - 30 wpm typing. - Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and payer requirements. - Fire Card is a must have.
