What you'll be doing

The Accounting Assistant will be required to assist the Accounting Manager in completing the accurate general accounting functions, such as: - Track aging A / R revenue for the customers and the company. - Accounts Receivables / Accounts Payable. - Prepare deposits as well as entering deposit into the accounting system. - Account for the cash receipts. - Verify and monitor FEINS with W-9s. - Cope with all the issues related to the bank accounts of the clients including bank account funding, bank reconciliations, stop pays, abandoned property, deposits. - Track, request as well as process excess reimbursements.

What your background should be

Basic competences for the Accounting Assistant role: - Bachelors Degree in Accounting. - Effective communication and exceptional customer care skills. - Practical knowledge of basic procedures and policies of general accounting. - Efficiency in MS Excel, computer literate. - Solid organizational skills. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. - Ability to handle additional accounting functions as required.
