What you'll be doing
- The most successful candidate for the role of the Department Secretary will be required to perform various department and clerical support, receptionist and many other activities, such as dealing with telephone inquiries, scheduling patients, providing help with Quality Assurance activities, compiling statistical data, verifying patient insurance information as well as handling many other duties.
What your background should be
- The incumbent must meet the following requirements regarding the education and experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Proficient awareness of medical terminology is a must. - Additional secretarial and clerical training highly desired. - CPR certification is a must. - Competency in the use of office equipment, including office software, fax machines, computers and printers.
