What you'll be doing

The main objective of this post is to execute a variety of complex technical and automated pharmacy tasks, that require application of extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical, medical supplies and pharmacy practices. They apply sound judgment based upon substantial experience in the field of pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist prepares and distributes new and refill medications including: unit dose cassettes, IV solutions, chemotherapeutic agents, controlled substances, outpatient prescriptions and special preparations requiring compounding. Also she/he will distribute and/or transports medications and cart to appropriate patient care areas in a timely manner and under a supervision of the pharmacist.
