What you'll be doing

The essential responsibility of this role involve: managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities such as financial counseling, insurance verification, pre-registration, service scheduling, and point-of-service collections of patient registration and business office staff. The position holder will administer the submission of insurance claims on a timely manner, the reconsideration and collections of patient accounts and monitors the day-to-day collection and posting of cash. The Business Development Manager will provide day-to-day direction and leadership to assigned staff; identify work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite work flow. Further, the incumbent will take part in hospital strategic development and planning processes. Also she/he will assign functions and analyze work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

What your background should be

5 or more years of previous hospital experience

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree in business
