What you'll be doing
- The Pharmacy Technician will be answerable for providing high quality, cost effective pharmacy benefits and services to members. Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and Clinical Pharmacist(s), the chosen candidate will be accountable for supervising prior authorization program for Medicaid, Medicare Part D, and other formularies; maintaining all established recordkeeping; and responding to member, provider, and pharmacy inquiries regarding pharmacy services in an overall effort to realize Mission of the company to produce Healthy Individuals Through Innovative Systems. This person will be required to manage the prior authorization program by reconsidering requests and obtaining additional information from providers to make or facilitate coverage determinations.
What your background should be
- 3+ years of pharmacy experience
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma
