What you'll be doing
- Pharmacy Technician will be engaged in reconsidering charts to ensure patient compliance with instructions of the providers. Pharmacy Technician will conduct monthly medication order and prepares off-schedule orders. It is the responsibility of the Pharmacy Technician to maintain adequate supplies of prepackaged medications. This individual will execute monthly nursing station inspection, infection control inspection, immunization summaries, expired drug report, and dental inspections. The successful applicant will mix pharmaceutical preparations, fill bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types labels for bottles. She/he will support Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication. The position holder will attend and stores incoming supplies.
What your background should be
- 3 years of experience in a related field
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma/GED
