What you'll be doing

This person will be expected to provide advice, counsel to regional, department management and other clients on real estate matters with an emphasis on the acquisition and development of real estate for new restaurant sites. Other areas of responsibility include, among other things: assessing legal risks and opportunities within the area of real estate law and advising clients accordingly; determining whether legal clearance can be provided for a potential rebuild site; supervising paralegals assisting in the acquisition and development of real estate for new restaurant sites; construction issues related to the development of new restaurants; assisting in the development of policies and procedures; supervising outside counsel and handling legal matters or projects ranging from simple to complex. This position will also participate on cross functional teams, introduce new and creative problem solving approaches and serve as a center of excellence for a discreet function within the real estate practice area.

What your background should be

License to practice law is required. Minimum of three years technical experience preferred. Experience in the commercial real estate area is required.
