What you'll be doing

The Food Program Coordinator is principally responsible to manage and coordinate all activities relating to the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) requirements for family child care providers contracted or employed by the Family Child Care System. Will also be responsible for monitoring family child care homes for compliance with CACFP, conducting announced and unannounced site reviews in accordance with CACFP regulations, providing training to providers and system staff at least annually and as needed, and to review all CACFP forms and paperwork at least quarterly for accuracy, and maintain accurate and timely records as required by CACFP and Catholic Charities for purposes of documentation and billing.

What your background should be

Successful candidate will be highly organized, have strong computer skills, and be able to interact well with others. Some knowledge of CACFP requirements is helpful, a valid Massachusetts driving license and dependable vehicle for local travel is essential. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Must by physically, mentally, and emotionally able to accomplish the job, including the ability to read and write, to hear the conversational voice, to speak and be understood, with or without corrective devices and accommodations. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to climb stairs. Experience in social work or other field.

Required Schooling / Training

4-year degree.
