What you'll be doing
- QA Analyst will apply his/her skills and experience in leading web and software QA team while following software QA best practices to ensure that all products meet expectations. Creates and maintain test scripts and entire sets of test suites for .net Apps. Generate and maintain automation regression and functional test scripts and test suites. Execute automated regression test suites to ensure that new functionality has not affected other parts of the application. Work closely with development, business and other teams to coordinate and complete functional and regression testing prior to the release into production. Define efficient test strategies, including employing existing automation solutions or defining new ones. Analyze test results and translate them to measurable metrics. Design, plan, document and implement a comprehensive suite of Test Matrixes and Test Scenarios for GUI and server side regression testing. Generate automated tests for different test scenarios, covering all aspects of project functionality. Conduct system functionality testing, develop and execute test cases, produce problem reports, suggestions, system test logs and test incident reports for all enhancements and bug fixes. Work with development team on investigating and correcting software bugs and testing new software modifications. Diagnose and document advanced application issues received from customer support. Help define and implement test metrics to determine coverage and effectiveness. Apply industry best practices of standard testing methodologies and actively shares knowledge with the team. Demonstrate a clear understanding of QA processes and methodology. Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and ability to hit the ground running is essential.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a QA /QA developer role preferably testing multi tiered clustered applications. Around 2 years experience in test automation is a strong plus. Minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in test automation. Experience in designing and writing test automation scripts including use of one or more tools; JUnit, TestNG, Http Unit, Grinder or any other tools. Hands on MS SQL Server experience a plus. Performance testing experience is a strong plus. Solid experience in Software Quality Assurance, including test automation using Visual Studio for Testers is preferred. Ability to write and understand SQL queries to perform data verification and set up test data. Proficient in functional, regression, system integration (SIT), acceptance (UAT), load/performance, security and end to end testing. Desired experience with Web Service Testing Automation using SOAPUI or JMeter.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree/diploma in computer science preferred.
