What you'll be doing

Sales Representative develop and implement a regular structured program of contact and outreach to identify new referral sources and to maintain ongoing relationships with physicians and referral sources that will increase census and preference of company services. Promote and position company patient care service through regular visit in a manner that illustrate and reflect company quality of care and unique capabilities. Make regular, planned call to secure new referral, build census and meet established goals on new and existing referring physicians, facilities, case managers, discharge planners and social workers in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities and other health care providers. Maintain organized account information on each client, track visit/result on agency database. Use superior customer service to maintain current and establish new business relationships. Provide input and assist in organizing educational and appreciation activities such as Palliative Care Month, National Nurses Week, Veteran Day and other opportunities to enhance company brand in the community. Actively participate in marketing meetings and activities including company staff meetings. Help build collaborative working relationship both internally and externally. Perform specific assignment as requested.

What your background should be

Registered Nurse with one year medical sales experience in the local market is preferred. Driving license, valid auto insurance and a reliable vehicle for field use. Proven ability to generate and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts including physicians, healthcare professionals, community agencies, patients and families.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare or related field.
