Fleet Mechanic

What you'll be doing: Fleet Mechanic is responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles. A successful candidate must have a good understanding in troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of vehicles. Applicant has to perform preventative maintenance in fleet and respond to service calls. Other responsibilities such as maintain tools, clean work area etc. Candidate has to drive pickup and delivery vehicles. This is a second shift job position duration is mainly 12:00 noon to 8:30 PM through Monday to Friday.

What your background should be: This position required 1+ year of mechanic experience on light or heavy equipment and 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred. Gasoline, diesel and propane vehicle experience preferred. Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude. May be required to supply automotive hand tools. (Not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools.). ASE certification preferred.
